Kitchen Sink: A Women Writers' Weekend - Have you ever dreamt of writing a novel, but don’t know where to start? Do you enjoy writing, but have fallen out of the habit? This summer, Bay Path College invites women ages 18 and older to leave everyday life behind and reconnect with the writer within themselves during Kitchen Sink: A Women Writers’ Weekend from Friday, July 31, to Sunday, August 2.
Innovative summer programs for girls between the ages of 5 and 18.
Film Matters! is an exploration and discovery program for young women ages 13-15 interested in the environment and documentary filmmaking to be held August 3-7 2009. - Please note: This program has been canceled.
Animation Matters! a morning, week-long, introductory program that will teach students the basics of digital animation. If you are interested in learning how movies like Wall-E and Ratatouille were made and want to hang with girls your own age, this 1/2 day program is for you . 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: July 6-10 for young women entering 6, 7, and 8 grade and August 3-7 for young women in high school.
Illustration Matters! is an afternoon, week-long program that will teach students the basics of drawing from nature and how to transfer 2 dimensional images into electronic images for use as biological and scientific illustrations. 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.; July 6-10 for young women entering 6, 7, and 8 grade and August 3-7 for young women in high school, 9, 10, 11 and 12 grade.
GoGirls a summer discovery program for young girls from the ages of 5 and 12 to be held June 22-26, July 6-10, and Just added July 13 - 17, 2009!
Girls in Trees a summer discovery program designed to build confidence, leadership skills and promote teamwork. This exciting program will be held on the College’s private ropes course in the trees of south campus. July 20-24 for young women ages 13-15 and July 27-31 for young women ages 8-12.
“It’s MY Business!” A week-long day program designed to give young women entering grades 10-12 the opportunity to master the theory and practice of entrepreneurship by taking an idea and making it into a business. July 20-24, 2009
