This website represents a big step forward in presenting a cohesive brand identity to all our audiences, and includes best-practice features providing a welcoming online experience that mirrors the hands-on, caring nature of Bay Path’s faculty and staff.
First and foremost, we want to make it easy for our prospective students to find the information they need for their decision-making. On the homepage and other pages on the site there is an academic program selector that allows users to learn about Bay Path’s areas of study and answers the question: “What would you like to study?” Throughout the site, the navigation is user-friendly to make information easier to find, balancing text with other types of media such as photos, videos, and podcasts.
Second, the website integrates social media across all our social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram to name just a few. We all know that social media is one of the fastest growing forms of communication (information is exchanged in a matter of seconds), not only for our prospective students, but for the entire Bay Path community and beyond—and now we have a foundation to broaden our efforts in this area.
Third, this website brings all of our student populations together under one roof…one place to call home. From the moment prospective students land on the homepage of Bay Path University, they can self-identify with the appropriate buckets to begin their journey. The Residential College is for our community of high school students, transfers and commuters; The American Women’s College and the One Day A Week College allow adult women to choose how they want to learn— in accelerated online or on ground classes at our three locations; and the Graduate College has the full representation of programs and certificates available at Bay Path on ground and online.
