Do your belongings “spark joy”? Stephanie Baird will discuss her year-long process of decluttering while using the KonMari method as outlined in the bestselling book The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo. Not only did she remove around 60-80 trash bags and boxes of items, but she was also able to sell many of these items, making over $2,500. She has marveled at how much her consumption has decreased as a result of becoming more discriminating. She will outline the KonMari steps, with demonstration and pictures depicting efficient organization, as well as provide resources on how to responsibly dispose of one’s items, and discuss the benefits of clearing one’s home to clear one’s mind.
