Hybrid Courses at The American Women's College

Introducing our new hybrid model that combines on campus and online learning!

How does our hybrid model work?

TAWC's new hybrid model combines the best qualities of an in-class experience along with the flexibility and convenience of online learning.

Every Saturday of the course, you will attend a two and a half hour class on campus. This on campus portion of class gives you the opportunity to interact face-to-face with your instructors and form strong relationships with your classmates.

The remaining online portion of the course allows you to complete class assignments and participate in discussions from anywhere, anytime.

Our students tell us that the new hybrid format fits well into their busy lives. It also helps them manage their time to better meet TAWC's accelerated course requirements.

On Campus Class Times for TAWC Hybrid Courses

TAWC hybrid courses require a commitment to attend classes on campus.  For each six-week hybrid course, you must attend a 2.5 hour class on campus every Saturday. Saturday on campus classes are offered at our Longmeadow and Sturbridge, MA locations. The following are class times for the morning and afternoon sessions:

All TAWC classes offered on Saturdays follow the hybrid format, with the exception of certain education and legal courses. Some courses in the education and legal tracks require on-campus-only instruction due to external accreditation requirements.
