Career-Focused Concentrations

Enrolling now for the September 3rd start.
Also enrolling for the January 6, 2025 start.

The Master of Public Health at Bay Path University was designed to align with specific careers in the public health field by incorporating graduate certificates into the program requirements for stackable credentials and clear career pathways. Students choose from one of the following career-focused concentrations: Health Informatics, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Excellence in Healthcare, and Productive Aging. Upon completing the program, graduates earn a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree and a Graduate Certificate.

A public health degree is a competitive degree for many high-demand jobs, including health informatics specialist, health information analyst, nonprofit executive director, community outreach coordinator, medical and health services managers, public health policy advisors, aging services director, and community planner.

Bay Path's Master of Public Health Program:

  • Program coursework is 100% online with 4 career-focused concentrations: Health Informatics, Nonprofit Management, Organizational Excellence in Healthcare, and Productive Aging
  • Collaborate with a network of like-minded professionals and supportive faculty in a small, intimate, highly dynamic, and interactive environment
  • Students learn to apply theory and research to real-world public health issues
  • The MPH practicum is a supervised practical field experience where students engage in applied practice activities and gain professional experience in a public health work environment that aligns with their career goals and interest area
  • Access to library and academic resources, including writing support, mentoring, and career services
  • Graduates are prepared to become leaders in the field of public health through our unique career-focused graduate certificate concentrations
  • Bay Path University is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education. Since the MPH Program is new, we are not currently an applicant for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). However, our goal is to pursue applicant status for CEPH accreditation in the future.
