Matthew is the Director of Computer Science and Cybersecurity Programs at Bay Path University. He is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and innovation for the cybersecurity degree curriculum. Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in technology and information security leadership roles across the government, financial services, and technology sectors. A veteran of the United States Navy, Matthew received his MBA from Norwich University, MA from San Diego State University, and BA from the University of Maryland.

Matthew began his academia career in 2014 as an adjunct professor utilizing his expertise in cyber forensics, intrusion analysis, cybercrime, and computer engineering. In addition to teaching, he has held careers in the government and private sector with such Fortune 500 companies as General Dynamics, Dell-EMC Corporation & MassMutual Financial. His expertise in digital forensics has earned him the honor as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). Matthew also holds a Federal security clearance and is classified within the United States Federal Courts for testimony as an Expert Witness.

When Matthew is not working, he enjoys sporting activities to include baseball, football, basketball, racquetball, mountain climbing as well as kayaking and horseback riding in the wilderness with his beloved son, Tristen.
