Adjunct Faculty

Certificate in Online Education, Bay Path University; MS, UMass Worcester; BSN, Elms College; ADN, Holyoke Community College

I have had a varied nursing career over the last thirty-eight years. I have worked in long term care, acute care, acute rehabilitation and home care. In March 2017, I began working at the Pre-Release Center to serve as the nursing supervisor. I am a working supervisor with daily inmate contact as well as responsibility for the coordination of all aspects of their care.

For ten years prior to moving to the Pre-Release center, I was the nurse educator at the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department in Ludlow. In that role I was responsible for new staff orientation, providing staff development opportunities for our nurses that were necessary for our National Correctional Health Care accreditation.

Additionally, I have been adjunct faculty at STCC and WSU. It is in the role of clinical nursing education that I have had some of my most rewarding experiences.
