Complete the Application to Graduate Form: Graduates must register for Commencement using the online Application to Graduate form, which will be sent to those who have met or are expected to meet degree requirements prior to Commencement. If you have questions regarding your eligibility to graduate, please contact the Office of the Registrar at firstname.lastname@example.org. All degree candidates intending to participate in Bay Path’s 121st Commencement ceremony must receive approval from the Office of the Registrar.
Complete the Graduating Student Survey: Please take a few minutes to complete the Graduating Student Survey, which will be sent to Bay Path email accounts in early April. The survey asks about plans after graduation and thoughts on how well Bay Path prepared you for future success. Your responses personalize the value of a Bay Path education, help to enrich Bay Path programs and services, and inspire future students to similar achievement. Bay Path will not publish or share names or individual responses, only data and facts by division and major. After submitting the survey, please keep your confirmation of completion. You will need to present this confirmation to Bookstore staff in order to receive your cap and gown.
Be in Good Financial Standing: Students must be in “good financial standing” with the University to participate in the Commencement ceremony and to receive transcripts and diplomas. “Good standing” means students have paid in full all financial obligations to the University, including tuition, room and board, parking tickets, library fines, book returns, damage charges, and incidental debts. To verify your status, contact the Student Financial Services Office on the Longmeadow campus at 413-565-1256 or by e-mail at email@example.com. Representatives also will be available at the MassMutual Center on the day of Commencement.
