COVID-19 Dashboard

This dashboard shares the University's COVID-19 testing results. The explanation of each number is listed below the data.

Bay Path University is committed to protecting the health and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Testing is mandatory for all students, faculty, and staff who plan to be on campus for any reason. Following the initial test, each individual will be tested at least every two weeks thereafter. In addition, the University is requiring that all students, faculty, and staff complete a daily self-screening for COVID-19 symptoms before coming to campus.


Total Tests Administered (Cumulative) – This number is the total number of tests administered at Bay Path University since the beginning of testing in August 2020. This includes tests administered to faculty, staff, students, and potential vendors who have reason to be at any Bay Path University facility.

Bay Path staff, faculty, and students who are on campus for any reason are required to be tested every two weeks. For this cumulative tests number, an individual who is tested five times will count as five tests administered. 

Total Individuals Tested (Cumulative) - This number is the total number of distinct individuals tested at Bay Path University since the beginning of testing in August 2020. This includes faculty, staff, students, and potential vendors who have reason to be at any Bay Path University facility.

Bay Path staff, faculty, and students who are on campus for any reason are required to be tested every two weeks. For this cumulative individuals tested number, an individual who is tested five times will count as one individual tested.

Total Individual Positive Case Counts (Cumulative) - This number is the total number of positive cases reported from testing completed at Bay Path University since the beginning of testing in August 2020.  

Count of Individuals Tested (Last 7 Days) - This number is the total number of distinct individuals tested at the Institution in the last seven days, including the current date.

Positive Case Counts (Last 7 Days) - This number is the total count of positive cases that resulted over the trailing seven days.

Positivity Rate (Last 7 Days) - The ‘Positive Case Counts, Last 7 Days’ divided by the ‘Count of Individuals Tested, Last 7 Days’ where the quotient is then multiplied by 100 to represent a percent. For example, if 1,000 distinct individuals are tested, and 5 results are positive, we would divide 5 by 1000, resulting in 0.005 or a 0.5% positivity rate.
