Michelle Wirth, co-owner of the new Mercedes-Benz of Springfield dealership will give the 2017 Innovative Thinking & Entrepreneurship Lecture. She joins a long list of past speakers who have included Susan Marvin, president of Marvin Windows and Doors; Sue Morelli, chief executive officer and president of Au Bon Pain; and Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, among others. Her lecture is free and open to the public.

Lecture Description: “Abundance versus Scarcity”

Michelle Wirth is an optimist. She’s not governed by limits, but rather by the simple belief that the world offers endless opportunities. As the owner of the new Mercedes-Benz of Springfield, Michelle is focused on building a workplace culture of abundance that is inclusive, sharing and open-minded. It’s a “we first” mindset that’s less consumed by individual boundaries and the need for personal recognition, and more team-oriented to find solutions while supporting one another. As a result, much like the Mercedes-Benz brand she has long been a part of, Michelle advocates a work environment that is an endless loop of creativity and ideation—valuing solutions and innovation.
