Transfer Admission Requirements

No minimum number of transfer credits is required. You can transfer with as little as three credits.

Our admissions committee evaluates all facets of your application including:

  • Official high school transcript from an accredited school or high school equivalency certificate (G.E.D., HiSET or TASC) 
  • College transcripts 
  • Letters of recommendation (optional)
  • Essay  (optional) 

Essay Options (select one):

  • Question #1 - Tell us about a significant experience, accomplishment or risk that you have taken, and its impact on you.
  • Question #2 - Tell us about the inspiration behind choosing your major of interest.

Required GPA: Transfer students must have a minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA from their previous college(s) to be considered for admission.

Once you apply for admission to Bay Path University and submit all required materials, your transfer counselor will provide you with an admissions decision within one week and will determine how your credits transfer into Bay Path. In addition, our scholarship committee will evaluate your application to determine if you qualify for merit-based scholarships.
