There are three residence halls on campus. Each hall has its own kitchen unit, laundry facility, 24-hour-access computer lab and lounges.
Student rooms are furnished with an extended length twin-size bed, a chest of drawers, desk, desk chair, and a closet for each resident. Also, each room is wired for high-speed Internet connections for your computer, and there’s also voicemail and a cable outlet.
Kitchenettes are found in specific locations in each of the residence halls and include a sink, stove, microwave, ironing facilities and refrigerator.
Each residence hall has laundry facilities with washers and dryers that are free of charge for resident students
Students must provide their own telephones sets with touch-tone dialing. Each room is equipped with two jacks for two separate phone numbers. The College will provide service for local telephone calls, but students will need a telephone calling card for long distance calls. The billing number for long distance calls must be your home phone number. The College also provides you with voice mail, an alternative to an answering machine. Your voice mail account has a capacity of 20 minutes and is unique to each student.
All rooms have high-speed Internet connections equivalent to the connections currently being offered by many cable TV companies. Your computer will need a network card. The College does not allow the use of telephone modems to connect to the Internet.
Bay Path College is a smoke-free community. Smoking is prohibited in residence halls and other campus buildings.
Bay Path College is a secure campus operating on a computerized ID system. Exterior doors to the residence halls are locked at all times and can only be accessed through individual ID cards and a specific security code. As a resident student, you will receive a key to your room and an ID card that will provide keyless access to your residence hall and campus buildings.
