Campus Safety
The department of Campus Public Safety works to provide a safe and secure environment in which to live and work for the entire Bay Path community. Campus Safety officers also enforce the College's rules, regulations, and policies, as well as town, state and federal laws.
Bay Path College is a safe school. Campus Safety operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week with an advanced E-911 system connected to the local community police and fire department to handle emergency and fire situations. Residence halls are secured around the clock with electronic ID access provided and maintained by Campus Safety. In addition to the above duties, Campus Safety staff provides escort services as needed, enforce parking regulations, assist in special events, and provide crime prevention and campus safety workshops throughout the year.
Bay Path College ID
Your Bay Path College ID is electronically coded to provide you with exclusive access to a variety of services, including residence hall entry and meals at the Blake Dining Commons for your selected meal plan. It is your primary means of student identification. It also has additional features, such as the flex account option, that will make your life on-campus easier and more manageable. You or your parents can deposit money in the flex account allowing you to take advantages of your credit-card style Bay Path College ID for purchases in the bookstore, Carpe Diem Café, meals at the Blake Dining Commons, and residence hall laundry services. Your Bay Path College ID also allows after hours access to various buildings on campus.
Parking Regulations
Campus Safety regulates parking access and parking permits on the College grounds. All students, staff and faculty are required to display a parking hangtag in their vehicle when parking on campus. There are designated parking areas for students, as well as faculty and staff areas that are strictly enforced. First year and other student residents are allowed vehicles on campus, but are encouraged to park in specific areas. The parking hangtag is vehicle specific so you must notify Campus Safety if you change your vehicle.
