Paper: minimum is 450 (average is 547) for an ESL Program; minimum is 500 for traditional academic program; computer: minimum is 173 (average is 210)
When should I apply for admission as an international student?
International students can apply at any time, but the recommended deadline is March 15th if you wish to be considered for a scholarship.
Is there a special application I should use?
No, you may obtain an application from our international admissions counselor, or you can submit the College's online application.
When should I submit my statement of finances?
The statement of finance should be submitted with the application. It should be notarized from the bank of the applicant.
Do I need to have my high school transcripts translated?
Yes, an English version of your official and notarized high school or college transcript must be supplied to Bay Path College.
Are international students eligible for financial aid?
Yes, international students can be considered for merit-based scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $10,000 U.S. dollars per year.
What airport should I use when traveling to Bay Path?
It is recommended that international students first choice be Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT. Alternate choice is Logan Airport in Boston, MA.
Is there an international student advisor?
Yes, there is an international student advisor on campus that will help students adjust to living and studying in the United States.
Is there an international student orientation?
Bay Path holds a special international student orientation before the opening of school (approximately four to five days). This provides you with an opportunity to make friends, familiarize yourself with the campus, and register for classes.
Is there a health insurance plan for international students?
While attending Bay Path, all international students must obtain insurance coverage in the United States, or provide proof of insurance that is accepted in the United States.
Is it possible for international students to work while attending Bay Path?
International students can apply for on-campus positions only, and for a limited amount of hours.
When will Bay Path College issue an I-20?
Once an international student has completed all the admission requirements and has been accepted, and has also submitted the appropriate financial documentation (provided by the international counselor) that has been approved, the College will issue an I-20.
