student scholarship recipientBay Path College’s scholarship program is composed of a variety of College scholarships that are funded by tuition revenue, endowment earnings, and gifts. Additionally, many scholarships and grants are provided through the financial commitments of Bay Path College’s alumni and friends.

Merit Scholarships

You will automatically be considered for one of Bay Path’s merit scholarships when you apply for admission. Scholarships are available for fall and spring entry and are renewable contingent upon full-time enrollment and maintaining satisfactory academic progress. Merit Scholarships are gifts of money that do not have to be repaid. They are based on your grades and standardized test scores.

Merit Scholarships for Freshmen:

  • 1897 Founders Scholarship: $13,000 annual award  for resident; $12,000 annual award for commuter
  • Provost's Scholarship: $12,000 annual award for resident; $11,000 annual award for commuter
  • Dean's Scholarship:  $10,000 annual award
  • Seize the Day Award: $7,000 annual award
  • Pathways Award: $5,000 annual award

Merit Scholarships for Transfers:

Bay Path values what transfer students bring to our campus. As a transfer student, we make your transition as easy as possible, including providing academic counseling and financial support. That's why a quarter of our new students are transfer students each year.

  • Academic Excellence Scholarship:
    Average Core GPA of 3.25 or greater.
    $10,000 /year for residents
    $8,000/year for commuters
  • Presidential Achievement Scholarship:
    Average Core GPA between 2.80 and 3.24.
    $9,000/year for residents
    $7,000/year for commuters
  • Success Award:
    Average Core GPA 2.00 and 2.79.
    $7,000/year for residents
    $5,000/year for commuters 
  • Phi Theta Kappa:
    $1,500 with associate degree and GPA 3.5 or above.

Bay Path College is proud to announce the National Science Foundation Scholars Program, a Bay Path scholarship program designed to attract and retain students in the Biology, Biotechnology, Forensic Science or Biology Secondary Education programs. The NSF Scholars Program at Bay Path College will provide academic, scholarship, career and other financial support to undergraduate women who demonstrate academic potential or ability and financial need. The goal of the program is to increase the numbers and the academic success of women graduates prepared to pursue a broad range of careers in science to meet the growing demand in both our region and nation for a highly skilled workforce capable of applying its technological and scientific expertise strategically and with innovation.

Support will include scholarships ranging from $2,500 - $10,000, research assistantships and work study opportunities, group tutoring, book funding, mentoring by faculty members as well as professional and career development activities. The scholarship is open to prospective first-year and transfer students majoring in the sciences as well as current Bay Path College students. Minority women are encouraged to apply.
