Head Soccer Coach: Gary KaribianCoach Gary Karibian

Coach Gary Karibian is in his first year as head coach of the Bay Path College Soccer team. He comes to Bay Path with a wide-reaching soccer background. He has coached competitive soccer for the past five years, and has a history as a elite soccer player. His awards include two-time First Team All-Conference goalkeeper, two-time First Team All Regional goalkeeper, and All American Goalkeeper two years in a row, 2000 and 2001. In addition, he was named Notre Dame College Male Athlete of the Year for the 2001-2002 season, Girl's Soccer Coach of the Year by the Nashua (NH) Telegraph, and four-time NH State Champion Coach.

Coach Karibian's philosophy: "Soccer is a way of life for me. My father was from France so my coaching style is derived from the European mentality: Strong Defense mixed with a strong counter attack. Soccer is a low scoring game in general so I believe the most important part of the game is to keep the ball out of our net first and then counter with overlapping players and posession of the ball. I also believe in "blue collar" players. It is important to come to each training session and work hard in order to push ourselves to be the best. From pushing ourselves at practices we can then be better for games."
