Bay Path has a rich soccer tradition. League champions for two years, and participants at the NCAA Division III final, soccer players will find positive and winning attitudes at Bay Path. The team philosophy is strong defense mixed with a strong counter attack with overlapping players and possession of the ball. Bay Path soccer players work hard to be the best they can be.
2007 Soccer Wrap-up
The Wildcats ended their season (7-9-3 / 3-5-2 NAC). They finished sixth place, making them eligible for playoffs. The Wildcats beat 3rd seed team Castleton St. after double overtime, securing their 5-4 victory in penalty kicks. They advanced to the Semi-finals in Bangor, ME to take on Husson College where they were defeated 3-0.
NAC Championship All-Tournament Team included (G) So., Sam Gunseth and (Mid) Sr., Marianne Owens.
Marianne Owens also was selected to the 2007 2nd Team All-North Atlantic Conference Women’s Soccer Team.
During the October 14, 2007 game vs. Green Mountain College, seniors Marianne Owens, Meaghan Smith, Jade Kusnierski and Tianna Carr were recognized during half-time ceremonies.
