Cross Country

Bay Path College cross country runner heads to the finish line.Cross country running is a sport of fitness, endurance and teamwork. At races, or meets, a team of runners compete on a course over open or rough terrain, including paths through woods, grassy fields and hardpacked paths. Each competior runs the same course at the same time. Teammates of similar ability often run together to keep their pace and spur each other on.

2007 Season Wrap-up

The team competed and qualified in 5 meets in the fall of 2007. They ran at Castleton State College, James Early Invitational at Westfield State College, Western New England College Invitational and the Elms College Invitational. They competed in the NAC Championships held at U-Maine at Farmington.

The team also was selected by the coaches of the NAC as the 2007 winner of the NAC Team Sportsmanship Award.

Seniors on this year’s team included: Chrissy Ordyna, Amanda Rodriguez, and Eva Kulikowski.
