Pre-Medical

As a biology major with a pre-med concentration, you take both scientific and non-scientific courses. This integrated curriculum provides you with a broad foundation in order to prepare you for the field of medicine, and, in addition to research opportunities with faculty and the small class environment, enhances your confidence and analytical skills—qualities critical in the medical field.

The faculty are also dedicated to helping you achieve your goal by working with you one-on-one for pre-medical school advising (including MCATs, application procedures, and interviews), and assist you in obtaining valuable internships and volunteer opportunities that could make the difference in acceptance to medical school.
