General College degree requirements stipulate that students must maintain a grade of C or better in the following courses to progress to the sophomore year within the Biology Program: BIO 110, BIO 112, CHE 120, and CHE 121. Additional requirements for continuing within the program beyond the sophomore year are indicated within the individual course descriptions.

Requirements for the Bachelor of Science with a Organismal Concentration:

Completion of the core 43 credits, as outlined in the Bay Path College Core courses, and the following:

  1. Biology courses: 112, 210, 220, 260, 350, 410, 431, 440, 450;
  2. BIO 498 or BIO 499;
  3. Four Chemistry courses: 120, 121, 220, 221;
  4. Two Physics courses: 101 and 102;
  5. Six additional courses: three general electives, two science electives and one math elective.
