Biology: Concentration in Molecular Biology
The Biology Program offers a vibrant and innovative alternative to most biology/pre-professional curricula. While providing you with a strong and well-rounded curriculum in the biological and physical sciences and mathematics, the program is structured so that you spend most of your last two years of study totally immersed within the sciences. This total saturation in upper division biology and chemistry coursework allows you to concentrate solely on your chosen fields. In addition, large tracks of time are available for advanced scientific study with other students, faculty mentors, and outside professionals.
Molecular Biology
Focuses on the cellular, chemical, and tissue levels of biological organization. This track prepares students for employment in technical positions or for graduate studies in cell biology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, proteomics, biochemistry, or developmental biology.
