Community Service

Service in the Community

Out-of-class activities with the larger community teaches civic responsibility and citizenship—making honors students aware of the impact they can have on individuals and the world around them.

Here’s a sampling of community service projects:

• Serving meals at the Loaves and Fishes Center;
• Coordinating the collection of food packages for the Emergency Food Pantry;
• And volunteering at the Berkshire Hills Music Academy, a school for challenged yet musically gifted young people.
