“Through courses such as Organic Chemistry and Evidence and Forensic Anthropology, I had the opportunity to put my knowledge to use during my Honors Internship with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington, D.C. During my internship, I worked side-by-side with forensic scientists in the crime labs, and gained a better understanding of my field of interest.”—Velvet continues to work with the FBI as a voluntary intern, and intends to pursue a career in a forensic lab or as a crime scene investigator.
