Victoria Cintron

Victoria Cintron“As a young professional, I’ve had extraordinary opportunities to advance my career in the insurance industry. However, I knew my career would hit a wall if I didn’t complete my bachelor’s degree, and I never wanted anyone to tell me I didn’t get a job just because I didn’t have a degree. Now that I’m enrolled in the One-Day-A-Week Saturday College, nothing can stand in my way of achieving my dreams.

I’m surrounded by encouraging peers but more importantly, dedicated administrators and professors, like Dr. Gina Joseph-Collins and Dr. Sandi Coyne, who are focused on Bay Path’s mission, and offer an education that is preparing me for the world of business. Courses from marketing to management are providing me with practical knowledge I can immediately apply to real-life.

In addition to my education, Bay Path has also provided excellent career services. When I noticed a new position within my company, I turned to Maura Devlin, a career advisor in the One-Day program. She helped me tailor my cover letter and resume to the leadership role in which I was applying. With her guidance, I landed the new job, which allows me to ensure quality standards within the insurance company and train new hires!

Through education and various student services, the One-Day program is placing me on the path to get me where I want to go in the business world.”

- In the following years, Victoria intends to advance her career with her current employer by seeking an executive management position.
