After 25 successful years in sales and services, Regina Leduc ’07 has taken the lead in her career path by establishing AIM (Attitude, Inspiration, and Motivation) Business Solutions, a business idea which developed during her business courses at Bay Path. A franchise of Leadership Management Inc., AIM provides business owners with management consultations and professional training and coaching. By working one-on-one with clients, Regina creates a program specific to her clients’ needs, helping them reach business goals. “When I enrolled in Bay Path, I knew I wanted to have my own business,” said Regina. “Today, I have a fulfilling career by guiding others along the way to a successful business.”
For Regina, the key to her business success has been networking. While working in the sales and service department of Verizon, Regina was introduced to Leadership Management during a phone conversation with a franchisee, who was contemplating retirement. As Regina was determining his company’s needs for Verizon service, he had sold Regina on the idea of opening AIM. “I knew this was exactly what I had been looking for,” said Regina. “It enabled me to apply my years of professional experience and follow my dream.”
Regina, who is a firm believer in the importance of associating with other professionals, has also advanced the field of networking through a new venue—her upcoming radio program on The Spirit, WESO—970 AM. Every week Regina will welcome an area business professional to her talk show. Through her radio program, her guests will share their stories and information about their businesses, enabling them to connect with a broader audience—WESO listeners.
“In just two years, I’ve gone from a college graduate to a business owner, and now a radio talk show host,” said Regina. “Through social networking, be it events or even Facebook, I’ve learned that there is an opportunity around every corner.”
