Professor Lauren Way, the Program Director
Professor
Lauren Way is the director of the Entrepreneurial Program at Bay Path College, and also teaches courses in entrepreneurship in the
business department. Professor Way has a remarkable background that combines experience in launching and consulting for new businesses around the globe. In the early 1990s, Professor Way lived and worked in Russia during the country’s shift from communism to a free market economy. There, Professor Way gained hands-on experience as an international entrepreneur, opened a commodities trading company with Russian partners, and later advised many new start-up ventures. Professor Way earned a bachelor of arts from Smith College, and a master’s degree in Educational Policy, Research, and Administration at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst). She is currently a doctoral degree candidate in Education Policy and Leadership at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst).
