Girls in Trees
Girls in Trees a summer discovery program designed to build confidence, leadership skills and promote teamwork. This exciting program will be held on the College’s private ropes course in the trees of south campus. Learn how to tie ropes, belay each, use low and high element equipment with certified instructors. The best part will be showing your friends and family on Friday, all that you have learned!
- Age Group: 13-15 years of age Date – July 20-24, 2009
- Age Group: 8-12 years of age Date – July 27-31, 2009
Schedule:
Drop off: 8:30-8:55 am
Program times: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Pick up: 4:00-4:30 pm
Monday - Introduction to the challenge course, team building
Tuesday – Low elements, knots, high elements, and more
Wednesday - Low elements, knots, high elements, choice you Challenge element!
Thursday – Field Trip Day!
Friday – Family day, show them what you learned and celebrate! Early departure day (3:00 pm)
