Convocation
09.08.2008
Convocation is a gathering of the Bay Path community. It is a formal celebration marking the start of a student’s college career, and the beginning of the academic year. A ceremony with strong historical significance, it includes a procession with faculty in full academic regalia and a keynote speaker. In addition, members of the senior class, in anticipation of commencement, will be wearing their graduation gowns for the first time. Also part of this traditional gathering is the signing of the Honor Pledge (earlier signed by first-year students) by the faculty.
