Burlington Campus offers free career workshop and information session

Bay Path College will be hosting a career workshop and education information session at its Burlington Campus on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program includes a box lunch and is cosponsored with the YWCA of Greater Lawrence. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is necessary.
The program will include tips on resume writing, interview skills and information on presenting yourself after changing careers or re-entering the workforce. In addition, Bay Path College representatives will highlight Bay Path’s One-Day-A-Week Saturday College – an accelerated degree program that allows women to complete their associate or bachelor’s degrees in as little as one year or up to three and a half years. For participants applying for admission to the program the application fee will be waived.

Bay Path College, a leader in accelerated degree programs for adult learners, launched its Burlington Campus for its highly successful One-Day-A-Week Saturday College and selected master’s degrees in the fall 2007 semester. Founded in 1897, Bay Path College has a history of developing innovative educational programs in direct response to the needs of its students and the changing workplace.
