How “well” are you? We’re not talking about your weight, or what you ate for lunch. Okay, maybe those things count a little bit. We’re talking about wellness – that overall, inside-and-out, up-and-down, multi-dimensional well-being that affects every part of who you are. In fact, there are SEVEN DIMENSIONS of wellness: Occupational, Intellectual, Emotional, Physical, Social, Financial, and Spiritual. So, how well are you? Join in Bay Path’s Wellness Challenge to find out!
Bay Path College plans on being a national model for healthy college campuses. That’s right: we want to be one of the healthiest campuses in the country. It starts with YOU. We’re kicking off the month of February with a Wellness Challenge that addresses the seven dimensions of wellness. Anyone can grab a salad or take the stairs and claim they’re doing something healthy – and they are! But we want to push it a step further: we want our community to feel well inside and out. We want to be a campus full of people that not only eat healthy food and exercises, but also makes wise choices for our spirits, in our social lives, and with our finances. Are you up for it? Come on, wellness is fun… and besides, there’s a FREE gift in it for you! Our goal is to get 500 participants!
Here’s what you do: follow THIS LINK- to register; then bookmark the page and log on every day in February to view that day’s health and wellness challenge options. You can pick which challenges sound good, and try them on your own. You’ll receive FREE wrist bands that show everyone your support for the healthy campus challenge.
As the month progresses, we’ll keep you posted on how our campus is doing via Facebook updates. And we want to hear from you directly, too.
