NECC Tennis Champion

The Bay Path College Wildcats take the 2010 New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Women’s Tennis Title. Coached by Steve Morneau, the Wildcats went 10-1 during the regular season play.
The Bay Path tennis team finished the year by winning the last three games of the season against Lesley University, Mitchell College, and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Becker College took second place, and coming in third was Lesley University.
The 2010 NECC Women’s Tennis Championship Tournament will be an individual, flighted tournament that is based upon student-athletes’ singles and doubles conference records. Players are seeded as individual players and seeds are not based on a team’s finish. Hosted by Bay Path, individual championship play will begin this weekend on Saturday, October 16, at the Enfield Tennis Club in Enfield, Connecticut. Semi-finals doubles action will begin at 4:45 p.m., and the semi-finals singles flights will begin at 6:00 p.m. The championships will conclude on Sunday, October 17, with the finals brackets. Trophies will be awarded to all six singles flights’ and all three doubles flights’ winners.
