GO Girls! Summer Program

06.25.2010

GoGirls summer program participantsLONGMEADOW, MA—Every girl needs a special place—a place where girls can dance their toes off, paint with the colors of the rainbow, or be a clown for a day. Every girl needs a place that encourages her to make new friends and explore who she is, and that place is Bay Path College’s GO Girls! Summer Program. Young girls between ages 5 and 12 will have the chance to discover their potential through the arts, theater, computers, sports and games. These action-packed, weeklong programs include field trips and conclude on Fridays with The Big Show, a popular variety show giving each girl the opportunity to be on stage and perform with a large or small group or individually.

“Our goal is to make sure each camper leaves everyday feeling confident and with a sense of accomplishment that will make GO Girls! a lifelong experience,” said Briana Sitler, director of special programs.

The summer program offers three weeks of fun-filled adventures.

July 12-16, Out of this World!

  • Campers will blast off and learn about the universe, from stars and planets to galaxies and space travel.

July 19-23, Back to Nature!

  • It’s all about being green. Young girls will learn the basics of recycling and experience new ways to create art using “trash” and items found in nature.

July 26-30, 2010, Welcome to Hollywood!

  • Lights, Camera, Action! This is a GO Girls! open call for young girls wanting to explore the worlds of acting, film production, and the theatre.
