12.06.2010

Bay Path College’s Communicating in Psychology students Danyelle Carter ’12, Katie Brandt ’12, Felicia Wilson ’12, and Lauren Szentmiklosi ’12 were among the 200 people who attended this year’s United in Hope: Celebrating Literacy Through a Community Voice. The High School of Commerce hosted the United in Hope event, which featured New York Times best-selling author Wally Lamb, community leaders and performances by area youth groups. The Bay Path students met guest speaker and author Wally Lamb during the event. Currently, the students are reading Lamb's Couldn't Keep It To Myself, which includes stories written by women prisoners, who Lamb worked with at York Correctional Institution in Niantic, CT.
