Wildcats sweep doubleheader against Johnson State College

In a doubleheader switched to Bay Path College because of snow the "Wildcats", 4-4 (3-1 NAC) swept Johnson State College 0-4 (0-2 NAC) 14-0 in game one and 11-3 in the nightcap.
Bay Path College was led by the hitting and defense of senior Amanda Rodriguez, (South Hadley, MA), who had a grand slam and 5 rbi's along with some sparkling defense in helping Bay Path to the wins.
Kristal Cormier (Rochester, NH) held Johnson to 3 hits in the first game for her 1st win of the season. Jess Nizinski (Holyoke Catholic) pitched 4 strong innings in the nightcap to get her 3rd win of the season. Jessica Gervais had 4 hits to lead the Badgers. Bay Path College next plays at home at 3:30 pm on April 1 vs. Albertus Magnus College of CT.
