For the fifth year in a row, Bay Path College made the elite top tier for Best Baccalaureate Colleges in the North in the 2009 edition of “America’s Best Colleges” by U.S.News & World Report. The nationally-known rankings, released by U.S.News & World Report on Friday, August 22, will be published in the magazine’s September 1 issue.
The annual rankings – in which U.S.News groups schools based on categories created by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching – provide a resource for parents and students contemplating one of life’s most challenging financial decisions. The annual U.S.News & World Report rankings represent the most comprehensive look at how schools stack up within a set of 11 indicators, and help consumers evaluate and compare data compiled from more than 1,400 accredited four-year schools.
Bay Path achieved its ranking of twenty-eight by obtaining high marks in the categories of small class sizes, student to faculty ratios, and entering freshmen who are in the top 25% of their graduating class.
