Longmeadow, MA, Bay Path College (3-10-2, 3-4-1 NECC)defeated Mitchell College (5-10-1, 3-4-1) 3-1 in New England Collegiate Conference women's soccer action Saturday at Ryan Field. The victory gives Bay Path College a 5th place in the regular season an a probable match-up with Daniel Webster College on Wednesday, October 29 in 1/4 Final action.
Senior Co-captain's Michelle Deyorio (Palmer, MA)and Vickie Malanowski (Windsor, CT) capped off their Senior Day by notching goals. Jacqui Siddle (Palmer, MA) also chipped in with a breakaway goal in the 2nd half for the Wildcats.
Paige Ehnot (West Hartford, CT) scored the lone goal for the Mariners in the second half to pull the team to 3-1.
Sam Gunseth(Swanzey, NH) made 10 saves for Bay Path, while Britney O'Neal (Old Saybrook, CY) had 4 saves for Mitchell."
