Special Education: Post-Baccalaureate

Post-baccalaureate in Special Education with Massachusetts Licensure

The Post-baccalaureate program in special education is designed to provide you with the option to pursue a Massachusetts educator licensure in one of the following areas:

• Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Levels: PreK-8), Initial, Post-Baccalaureate
• Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (Levels: 5-12), Initial, Post-Baccalaureate
• Teacher of Students with Severe Disabilities (Levels: All), Initial, Post-Baccalaureate

The licensure program consists of 6 required three-credit courses and one 12-credit practicum for a total of 30 credits. You have the opportunity to complete two additional elective courses to receive your master’s degree.
