Meet the Director
Mo Sattar, program director of the Bay Path College Master of Business Administration graduate program, has global entrepreneurial leadership experience with a focus on developing business strategies to achieve business growth and financial performance.
Mo began his teaching career with Bay Path College in 2006. Mo’s primary academic focus includes entrepreneurship, business and operations strategies, financial management, and investment strategies.
His focus on connecting the dots links key strategic metrics within a business to facilitate best in class performance. Mo’s strategic thinking connects the dots between marketing, sales, operations, research, human resources, finance, and supply chain. Mo connects these organizational paradigms by analyzing the business strategies, assessing the impact of external global economics, implementing score cards to measure performance, and generating plans to increase performance.
Mo brings over thirty years of successful business leadership to Bay Path. During his career Mo held various leadership positions involving Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain Management, International Operations, and General Management. His career highlights include: Starting a successful joint venture in Moscow Russia, which began with one employee and grew into a sustained business with up to 150 employees and strong fiscal performance.
- Leading a $400 million aerospace business with operations in Connecticut, California, Frankfurt Germany, and Moscow Russia. His responsibilities as General Manager and Vice President included Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Business Development activities to service a global customer base.
- Managing a billion dollar global supply chain with a proactive focus on delivery, quality and financial performance.
- Participated in various acquisition and merger strategies while leading successful global acquisition and merger integrations.
- Lead various process improvement teams, which resulted in enhancing fiscal and quality performance.
Mo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from University of Connecticut, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Science degree in Business Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Mo has a passion for teaching, and he supports student development by conducted small-group, hands-on workshops to help students with career mapping as well as offering one-on-one career coaching and mentoring.
