The Alliance for Global Education is a partnership of the Arcadia University's Center for Education Abroad and the Institute for Study Abroad at Butler University, formed with the vision of opening non-traditional destinations to an ever-growing and more diverse U.S. undergraduate population.

With current programs in China and India, the Alliance for Global Education maintains the high academic standards, strong student services, and careful health and safety measures of its partner institutions while furthering its core mission of offering students a stimulating, interdisciplinary introduction to vibrant, dynamic countries and cultures that are of ever-increasing scholarly, political, and economic interest.

New in 2009: Pune, India and Xi'an, China

India has captured the world's attention as a rising financial, technological, and cultural phenomenon. The Alliance for Global Education is launching programs in India's most exciting urban centers beginning Spring 2009. Click here for more information.

In spring 2009, the Alliance is also launching its newest program in China: Xi'an: Art, History, and the SIlk Road.  Students will experience traditional and contemporary China in this vibrant and historically rich city.  The program includes an exciting two week field study trip along the Silk Road to northwestern China.  Click here for more information.
