Alumni Association Council

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Bay Path College Alumni Association is to provide a lifelong mutually beneficial connection between graduates and/or former students of Bay Path College. It supports the highest standards of education, promotes the welfare and advances the interests of the college and its students, keeps members informed about their alma mater and fellow alumni, and provides opportunities for social and educational interaction.

To implement this mission, the Association works with the Office of Alumni Relations to:

• Foster alumni pride and enhance the reputation of the College.
• Provide alumni leadership to the College, students  and community members.
• Increase financial support for the Bay Path Annual Fund.
• Enhance the public image, promote the accomplishments and advance the interests of Bay Path College through communications and public relations.
• Encourage traditions through social and educational interaction.

The Alumni Association Council is made up of between 25 - 30 alumni representing a broad range of academic programs and graduation years.

The responsibilities of the Council include:

• Gathering and sharing of alumni opinions.
• Providing input on strategic planning issues to the Alumni Relations Office.
• Ongoing review of Alumni Association mission statement to ensure that goals and objectives are being met.
• Advocacy and support of the College through Annual Fund participation and other initiatives.
• Representation at key alumni events.
• Outreach to the area through community service.
