Profile
David Lanoie, JD, began his teaching career at Bay Path College as an adjunct professor in 2007. He brings 25 years of experience working in corrections, and he is currently the Superintendent with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, a position he has held for 12 years. Lanoie is a technical service provider for the National Institute of Corrections in Washington, D.C., and currently serves as Vice President of the Legal Counsel Committee of the Massachusetts Sheriffs' Association, and as a member of the Legal Counsel Section of the National Sheriffs' Association. He is also a trainer and instructor for the Massachusetts Sheriff's Training and Education Committee. His prior experience includes adjunct faculty positions at several colleges as well as a full-time faculty position and criminal justice program administrator at Anna Maria College in Paxton, MA.
Lanoie holds a Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in Massachusetts. His expertise is in the area of corrections and public safety.
