PSY 332 — Psychology of Child Protective Issues

Child Protective Issues will examine current conditions and issues which threaten both the physical and mental health of children in America today. The course will explore signs of physical, emotional, and verbal abuse, various forms of neglect and their long term effects. Students will gain an understanding for the responsibilities required of mandated reporters throughout various professions. The course will include high profile case studies of child abuse and neglect.
