The primary objective of this course is the development of the perspective of the executive leader’s job and responsibilities from a conceptual as well as an operating standpoint. The student who completes this course will be able to accomplish strategic analysis and develop specific strategies appropriate to the nonprofit environment, will understand contemporary issues of nonprofit governance and their impact on implementation of strategy, will be able to evaluate accomplishment and take appropriate strategic action, and will be able to create and execute a strategic plan for a nonprofit organization.
