This course offers mathematical skills required for students from business related majors. It emphasizes problem solving, mathematical modeling, and applications for business. The application topics include cost, revenue, and profit analysis; break-even analysis; supply and demand equations and curves; marginal profit, revenue, and cost; modeling consumption and consumer trends; and determination of optimum (minimum or maximum) values.
