MAT 140 — Calculus I

This course is part of a two-semester sequence (140-150), covering materials on limits, continuity, derivative of a function, techniques of differentiation, and applications of derivatives. It prepares students for further study of MAT 150, Calculus 2. This is an applied calculus course with less emphasis on theoretical rigor. Instead, the emphasis is on basic concepts, methods, and applications.
