This course is designed to develop basic arithmetic skills to a proficiency level necessary for successful practical and academic work. It is required of students whose basic arithmetic skills are deficient (this course is offered at no charge the first time it is assigned, but a $40 fee is charged the second time). Students must pass an exit exam to enroll in other mathematics courses.
