CRJ 330 — Criminal Organizations and White Collar Crime

This course explores and compares the structure and characteristics of three organized criminal factions: street gangs, motorcycle gangs, and the mafia. In addition, the elements of various white collar crimes will be discussed. The student will also be introduced to the concepts of various illegal racketeering activities, including bookmaking, sports betting pools, numbers, and loan sharking.
