CIM 660 — Internship and Field Project

Communications and Information Management

The Internship and Field Project provides students, who have limited experience, an opportunity to work on projects for corporations, information technology and information management firms, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, cable television or other approved organizations. All internships must be approved in advance by the director of the program and must follow the guidelines established by the career services department. Upon completion of the experience the student will submit to his/her graduate faculty advisor either a completed field project or a portfolio of work with a written report evaluating the experience in relation to the objectives of the program.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of 10 graduate level courses and permission of director of the program
