The course begins with the historical and current applications of WWW and the Internet. Students will learn to identify, describe, and use the specific WWW and Internet languages, vocabularies, hardware, and software applications used by profit and nonprofit organizations throughout the world. Various methods of examination and assessment of corporate websites will provide the student with the ability to determine authenticity of a website, quality of produce/service information, as well as the ease and safety of buyer/seller transactions. Essentially, the detail tools of customer transactions electronically will be studied through the entire cycle.
