This course represents an investigation of the development of organisms with emphasis on gametogenesis, fertilization, blastulation, gastrulation, neurulation and organogenesis and how these processes are controlled. Pattern formation and tissue differentiation and fate determination will also be explored as well as cell interactions and gene regulation
